Adrian frowned and scratched the back of his head with his free hand. "Hey, I did say sorry. But I guess you're right..." He wasn't really used to the outside world yet, which would explain his relative hot-headedness, since he had lived in a small cave with his father for most of his sheltered life.

"No need to carry Anocher. He go for days without sleep."

Adrian flicked his large ears and decided it'd be best for him not to talk anymore. As a matter of fact, when Briin wakes up, he thought, I think I'll keep watch from the skies...

Garnet yawned again. "Thank you for carrying me and letting me rest, Anocher," she said. She grinned. "You can put me down now, though. I think I can walk without falling asleep."

[Briin]

Briin'ken started resurfacing from her dreams and could soon hear voices. In her subconsciousness, she heard Garnet speaking to Anocher and quickly woke up, worrying that something had happened while she slept. Her head snapped up and she looked around, making sure everything was alright. Briin'ken saw that nothing was wrong, so she yawned and stretched.

It was then she remembered that Afrian was still carrying her. She looked up at him and said, "I'll be ok to walk now now, Adrian. I feel much better now, thank you."

[Nippy]

Adrian smiled meekly and set her down on the ground. "Okay, then," he said. "I suppose I'll be off... If you need me, call. I'll be near, don't worry." He looked up at the treetops and spread his wings as if to take off, but still kept walking with the group for some odd reason.

Garnet turned and smiled at Briin. " 'Morning, sleepyhead! Did you sleep well like me?" She grinned.

[Briin]

Briin'ken noticed Adrian almost take off into the air.

"Adrian, where are you going?" she asked.

She turned to Garnet and grinned, replying, "You're a sleepyhead too, Garnet! And yes I did sleep well.. I feel very refreshed!"

[Stormelle]

Stormelle troted ahead of the grop and toke off not living the grop but flying with her butiful white and gold wings.

[Nippy]

Adrian looked at Briin and pointed up to the sky. "Up there, of course, to keep watch," he said. "It doesn't seem I'm needed much down here, so I might as well fly... Gotta keep these wings of mine in shape." He was quite cramped, anyway, in the small forest, but didn't much show it.

Garnet grinned. "I'm glad," she said. "So am I. Up for some more searching!" Her ears twitched slightly at the saddening thought, but her expression was still pretty happy.

[Briin]

Briin'ken smiled at Adrian, "Ok, have fun!"

She watched Stormelle fly, admiring her wings.

Then the wolf then inquired, "Garnet, should I help search on the ground, or in the air?"

[Charunplugged]

"Wait, where do we head now?" Charon asked. Not even the Tome told him.

"You can search in the air, if you want," Garnet suggested, "Being that you're one of three who have wings." She shrugged. "But that's only my opinion. You can stay down here, too, if you want, and hang with us." She then turned to Charon. "Well, I suppose we could go this way for a while. Your book... it doesn't say anything, does it?" She failed to notice a small clearing straight up ahead...

Adrian flicked his ears again and, with a giant leap, took off. A gust of wind surged around the travelers as he burst through the treetops and flew above them, silent as a mouse.

Briin'ken decided to stay on the ground, there were already two searching in the air.

"I'll just hang with you guys for now," she declared.
