Anocher sighed listening to Briin'ken's song. No memeries came to him. Nothing...save for the dark days of his slavery under the Black Worlock. Anything of who he was, taken away. That was how his master controled his slaves.
He was free now but Anocher was truly alone.

Garnet stirred slightly in her heavy sleep and groaned a little. Having slept quite soundly for but a few minutes, her body felt better rested. Groggily she felt herself awake, but she did not open her eyes. Instead she stayed comfortable on Anocher's shoulder. She yawned, her kittycat jaw opening widely. She tried not to remember her quest and the depressing tale of finding Zelda, but that was why she was here. She decided to talk to Anocher, since she could sense some kind of uneasiness about him. "Anocher, are you okay?" she asked groggily, still almost half asleep.

"Shadows from past," he said softly.

((ok, here's a song I just made up quickly, no laughing ^_^ *Jon that means you.*))
"Ok, this is a song my mom used to sing to me."
Briin'ken hummed a little to get the right note, then she began to sing:
R'aen sudoni, K'nai Aja'are oparre maefuna.. Shoda, shoda.
She glanced around to make sure nobody was gawking, then continued, in the translated version.
Worry not, My Little One, cast your cares.. Away, away.
Her alto voice suddenly stopped as she realized that she couldn't remember the last three verses. But it didn't matter, since she was finally feeling peaceful. The wolf closed her eyes and drifted into a welcome rest.
((Note: The song isn't sung fast, it's slow and kind of saddish-hauntingish. That's why it's so short, it takes awhile to sing. Lol, I made up a tune for it and now my sister thinks I'm nuts, singing it.))

Garnet blinked. "Shadows from the past, eh?" she repeated, thinking. But putting the pieces together was too hard for her little head, so she decided to ask up-front. Little did she know it was a touchy subject, but she was half asleep so she couldn't keep her mouth shut. "What happened to you?"
Adrian found the song soothing, and he smiled as he listened. He figured Briin's mother or father had sung it to her when she was a cub. Slowly and softly, he began to hum a tune his father had sung to him, but wouldn't sing. He didn't want to wake Briin, afterall.
((Aww I like it! Simple but satisfactory. ;D))

"This, welll this is Jason's DragonTooth." Charon explained. "I have many lengendary items in my possession." He looked at Anocher and then at Garnet. He also had dark shadows in his past.

Briin'ken's paws and ears twitched in her sleep. She was having a dream about chasing rabbits. Try as she might they kept eluding her.. ((Oh thanks Jon.. : )

Adrian patted Briin's head so as to ease her, but not to wake her up. He wondered what she was dreaming about, then remembered how he often lucidly dreamed horrid things about the future, and decided to block it out of his mind.

"Anocher was once a...slave....." He answered Garnet. Anocher was treated as though he was a wild animal. He was chained constantly even with his master's controling spell he was still bound. The tormanet he went though as slave to a warlock was great, but he was free and his tried to put his angony behind him.
But Anocher always wondered if he confount his old master again. The Black Warlock never gives up so easily and would stop at noghthing to get his slave back. The real question was, could Anocher ever do battle with warlock's black magic? That was something he couldn't answer.

Adrian grinned at Stormelle and whispered to her, for Briin was still sleeping, "I don't think you could carry me if you tried."
Garnet shifted her position and looked at him, trying to read his face to figure out his emotions. It was hard, but she gathered that she really shouldn't be talking about it. "I'm sorry to hear that," she said anyway, "But hey, you're free now, right? That's a good thing!"

Adrian shrugged. "Still, is there anything out there bigger than I am?" he asked. "Maybe you know, but I've not seen a thing. Forgive me for my assumption."
