Okays...Okays stay calm! Moonsong thought. It was a good thing that Moonsong created the fairy house for it blended right in the scenery. The brute probably can’t see but he can smell her!” Carfuly very careful Moonsong climbed down the tree not daring to fly less the glow of her wings attracted the beast’s attention.
The creature, slowly came close Carfuly not making any nosie whatsoever. If one could see the beast one could swore it was smiling. For he hated all thing but hated unicorns greater so it would a great pleasure killing the unicorn. Odd he thought he thought the smell was slightly familiar. But then again the beast could care less the unicorn would soon be feasted upon if not torn to shreds.

Celeste's ear twitched. She heard Moonsong coming down. Since she was sleeping ever-so-lightly, just dozing off, she raised her head and intook a breath as she did so. Groggily, she looked around, oblivious to all things going on. She looked up the tree and saw her friend. "Moonsong? Is that you?" Her blurred vision was beginning to clear. "What's going on?"

Moonsong stammering something in gibberish for an answer and pointed off in a direction. ~~ The creature ears perked up. There it was! His prey! The beast purred (or growled) in pleasure. Soon the blood will run soon the blood will run! He thought but a strange thing happened. A voice not of the creature screamed inside his head. “Nooo!” For a moment the beasts seemed to cringe in fear or was it pain? This momentary feeling did not last soon the beast was under control and ready to kill.

Celeste looked at Moonsong, a puzzled expression on her face. She blinked slowly again, then craned her neck once more and looked in the direction her friend had pointed at. She could just barely see over the grass, but she noticed something large and looming coming towards them. Panic shot through her blood. Her body tensed up again; one quick movement and she'd have been off. Jumping to her feet to have the offense, she lowered her horn. She'd meet this strange creature horn-and-hoof - better to have the offense then get caught by surprise. The familiar scent began to jog some memories, but not wishing to remember something unpleasant right now, she pushed it away - even if it was key to remembering her past.

Now the attack! The beast let out a huge roar and charged. The fairy gasp seeing the creature in the moonlight. A wingless dragon creature with a catlike head. The creature was about 7 feet tall and it had a crest of horns that grew from it’s head to it’s shoulders. Hard black scales armored the creatures body and two wicked blades grew on it’s tail.
If Moonsong or Celeste would have known it this creature was a Mor’tack a fell beast of old. Servants of many dark lords for they were created to be a living killing machine under their masters. Rarely are they seen today, being a great deal of them were wiped out.
Taking wing the fairy cried. “He’s charging! Make like the wind!”

Celeste reared and neighed loudly in fear, spinning around quickly and streaking off in the opposite direction. The headache was coming back again - and so were the memories of what had happened at the accident. Quickly, and in little blurry pictures, she felt herself getting torn apart by the evil creature that was chasing her now. She revisited the old pain she had felt as she ran now, fleeing the same thing that had happened just a few months ((or was it a year? *can't remember* lol)) ago.
"Moonsong..." she panted as she ran, trying to yell as loud as she could so her friend could hear her, "What is that thing?!" Tears streaked down her face as the memories faded away. She now knew why she couldn't remember her past, but how could she actually figure out what happened back then now?

"I don't know...yet..." Moonsong shouted trying desperately to remember all the tales about dark evil creatures. It can't be a J'lurgeroth for they hunt in packs and definitely not a Fire Wyvern of death.
If only she were a Greater Fairy she would knew right away of what this creature was and how to fight it. Greats were more powerful and were far wiser then their less powerful (and not really wise) children. But then again Moonsong concluded that if she was a Great, she wouldn't be in this ugly situation. ~~~~~~~
The Mor’tack howled again enjoy a good chase. Run prey all you want but noone can escape me! He thought but once again he heard the voice pleading for him to stop the hunt. Silence Fool you have no power over me! You are nothing! Was the Mor’tack reply.

Celeste had built her running endurance up very high over the years. Somehow, she knew she had. She could run for a very long time and never get tired. So she was okay for running right now, but the adrenaline and fear pumped through her blood like no other. After she had finished crying, and the tears had dried on her short fur, she began to think of what to do when she got tired - when she would start to slow down. She had no hope of fighting and actually winning, but it was her only defense. So she resolved herself to fight when it came to that time. Casting a quick look over her shoulder at the beast, she whinnied again at the mere sight of it. It wasn't very pretty, and she knew she'd get hurt. Continuing to run, she kept the old memory out of her head. At least for now she did.

Moonsong following behind the unicorn. No matter how fast Celeste runs that thing will chase her til her heart gives out. He won't give up his so easily.
This is all my fawlt! She thought angerly. I shouldn't of put into danger. Why Moonsong! Why do you do thiese things!Your friend is going to get eaten cause of your own folly!
The fairy suddenly stop in flight and turned around facing the enemy. With a change of mood a new thought came to her. There is a time and a place for self-pity Moonsong! Now is the time to be a hero! ~~~~~~~
The Mor’tack was gaining on the unicorn. Soon the hunt will be over and he would have his feast. But there was one thing the beast failed to notice: a small form flying right at him. He didn't see it until it was too late as a bright light flashed into face and a small voice crying: "EAT DEATH DEAMON!"

Celeste blinked and cast a look over her shoulder again after hearing the yell. She skidded to a hault, not able to believe her eyes. She wheeled around. Now was her chance to get the creature who had done her such wrong! Gritting her teeth, she scraped the ground with her forehoof and lowered her horn. She snorted, building up her strength and anger. No way would she let someone hurt Moonsong! She furrowed her brow and tensed up, and then charged straight for the beast's chest.

The Mor’tack reared up on it hind legs howling swating his face. But Moonsong was too fast for him darting this way and that way with incredible speed. Thanks to the fairy the beast had momenterly forgotten about his unicorn prey, until he felt a sharp pain in his gut.

Celeste shoved her horn far into the Mor'tack's gut, gritting her teeth as she hit it with all her might. Why do I keep forgetting my horn is part of my head? she thought. She backed up quickly and took her bloodied horn out, wheeling and staying a short distance as she watched now. Still tense, she was ready to rear and use her cloven hooves if necessary. She might have ran, but she waited for Moonsong instead to ensure her friend's safety.

Screaming in pain the Mor’tack turned and with his right foreleg would of given the unicorn a death blow but missed nearby touching her. It was as if something had held the creature back. Howling he attacked again but Moonsong dived at his face again this time she was armed. Not a sword or a bow and a arrow but a blow gun. She aimed at the creature’s right eye hitting it right on target. Although the dart was as long as the fairy’s pointing finger and the poison wasn’t strong enough. She did manage to blind the Mor’tack’s right eye. Now if I can get the other one I can blind him. She thought and loaded another dart.

Now was Celeste's chance to help Moonsong out. She could distract the Mor'tack for a little while, giving Moonsong a chance to shoot her dart. She might be able to hold her position with a parry-and-feint strategy with her horn and hooves.
Darting in towards the Mor'tack, on his left side so she could actually be seen, she feinted an attack on his left foreleg. Purposefully missing so she could easily evade another attack, she kept her watch on the creature so she could try and parry - after all, he was much bigger than she, and could easily overtake her. She had to be nimble, and that's what she was trying to do.

Celeste’s plan had worked! As the beast turned to leap upon the unicorn, Moonsong saw her chance. In a flash the fairy shot the Mor'tack,’s other eye. “Good work!” She shouted to Celeste.
Now blinded by the poison the creature went wild, howling and wiping his eye making it worse. He madder then ever before. Blinded by a fairy! A mere fairy !
