Yup, he definitely couldn't remember her name. Well, when in doubt, substitute pronouns or pet names. It almost always worked.
"Don't be gone long, sweetheart," Talan called after the blonde. The brunette had given him an exceptionally snooty look, which as usual only encouraged him, so he smirked at her, lifting his eyebrows suggestively.

Kkami grinned at Tom. "Of course you are. You probably picked the best hatchling of them all. A mighty flametongue." She straightened up, though she still barely reached Larekka's shoulder. "If we're the same shoe size, I'll gladly take the loan. Not to say you have big feet, but I am kind of a shrimp."

Renee rolled her eyes and dragged Yalin ferther away, " I need you to be sure you get in a good word with the new trainer over there." she said pointing to a younge man who was sitting his eyes closed his arms crossed not speaking to anyone.
Yalin nodded, " Can do. Now can I go?"
" I think you'd best stay away from tha one Yalin..." Renee said giving her a pircing look.
Yalin giggeled, " Oh don't be such a bore I can take care of myself." and with that Yalin ran back to her friends and Talan.

Larekka grinned slightly, " Well let me see...You might fit in one of my pairs that I haven't worn in awhile. They are all to small but I like most of them because they where comfortable while they lasted." she opened the door letting Tom jump out of her arms and run over to her bed pulling himself up and sitting swinging his legs as he whacthed the two girls.
Going into a small room off of her own and changing quikly into her plan bond clothes and the coming out again and pulling some boots out of her closet after putting away the dress and the shoes she was whereing.
" Here try these." she said setting a pair down and pulling on some of her own and then going and sitting next to Tom.

Kkami pulled the boots on and took a few experimental steps. "Not too bad. A bit big, but they'll work. Lucky for me your feet aren't so big. Of course they don't match my dress, but I'll change into my shoes before going back into the party or Talan and Uncle Leder will never let me hear the end of it."
She laced the boots tightly. "That'll be fine. Alright, I'm definitely ready to go see those hatchlings. How 'bout you, Tom?"

Tom grinned gleefuly and jumped from the bed. Larekka smiled slightly and pushed herself off the bed and then kneeled next to Tom picking him and walking twored a back door, " We can go out this way and not have a bunch of trainers and people stare at us." she said smurking slightly.
As they neared the hen's barn she was sent a pattern of blue ad gold and smurked slightly knowing he wanted to play. He got bored very easily but he'd have to waait till after the hatchlings.

"The farm is really nice. It's so pretty and clean," Kkami commented as they made their way across the grounds. "Uncle Leder's farm is so big I never feel I can get to know all the dragons and people."

Talan was vaguely drunk, though not visibly so, and trying to explain to a few girls how they should come home with him for a party at his house.

" Yeay I like it. It's smaller then others but really nice. And there aren't to many in bond here...Most of us are here by choose. Mind you I'm not one of those but I do like it here.." she said as she opened the door to the hen's barn and walked in holding the door open for Kkami.

Kkami nodded thoughtfully. "We have a lot of bonders, but it's a good place to be even for bonders. My grandmother was a bondwoman, so I'm always keeping an eye on things in memory of her. Is this the barn we're going to?"

Kkami followed into the cool darkness of the mothers' barn. "Okay, Tom. Show me your hatchling."

Talan shrugged. "Too bad. Everyone's invited. Okay, who else is coming?"
A burly arm suddenly grabbed Talan around the shoulders. He looked up into the highly amused face of Leder, one of the wealthiest and most respected breeders on Austar IV. He groaned slightly. "Hello, dad."
"Well, well, Talan," said Leder jovially. "If you would, I'd like you to come meet the master of this estate."

Tom gigeled slightly and jumped from Larekka's arms and ran tworeds where the mother and her hatchlings where, " Be carful." Larekka called softly to him he passed infrount of the door and waited for Larekka to open it. Entering it they could she a younge red mother with eight small hatchlings.
Tom smiled in slight awe of thema nd then sat down in the stall followd by Larekka who picked up one of the larger hatclings and set it infrount of him sending to the mother that it would be all right.
Tom gentaly paited it on the head, " This is her.." he said looking up at Kkami.

Yalin smurked slightly and nodded her head respectfuly before heading over to the trainer her sister wanted her to talk to.
The younge Master grinned and shook the hand of his friend and fellow Master then waved and left knowing that he now had to find Leder and speak with him about what they where going to do.

Kkami knelt down beside Tom. "Oh, Tom, she's beautiful," she breathed. "You must be so happy. When is she going to come home with you?"
She rubbed a finger tip near the hatchling's eyeridge, then wiggled the fingers on her other hand at two of the other hatchlings eyeing her with curiousity.

Talan sighed inwardly, but he knew how to behave in public when he needed to. He assured the girls he'd be right back, and followed his father towards the other side of the room.
"What's his name again, Dad?"

Tom then petted her gentaly behind the ear and said, " Soon.."
Larekka nodded, " Sometime next week. We haven't disided just yet.."
The mother yawned slightly as Larekka moved twored her and began petting her head so she would calm down, " This is her first clutch so she's a bit nervous.." she explained smurkin slightly as one of the two hatchlings let out a small cerp and walked wablily over to Kkami.

Spotting them Lead as he usually went by began walking over waving slightly to them to get their attention.. How odd the boy wth him looked fermilar.
