Lead nodded slightly, " Just call me Lead.." he said smurking slightly knowing how Larekka would act if she was here.

Talan shook Lead's hand firmly. If he was embarrassed by their earlier meeting, he didn't show it. Leder clapped them both on the back.
"Met each other earlier?" he said. "Really. Where?"
Talan replied calmly, "At the pits earlier this morning, father. He had a good-looking black in a fight; promising trainer, too."

Kkami was giggling uncontrollably as the hatchlings stalked and attacked, then chewed, her fingers as she walked them back and forth across the stall. She paused as Larekka sighed. She sat up straighter and looked at her new friend with concern. "What's wrong?"

Lead grinned slightly, " Yes Larekka is that and so is her dragon. Don't think you'll be getting ina good word with her for what you did earlier" he said rembering her reaction after they'd gotten back.

Larekka looked over at her and smiled slightly, "Oh nothing really my black is just sending me a jumbel of patterns and he's getting impaintent with me..He wants to get out and move about"

Talan arched one dark eyebrow.
Leder folded his arms and eyed his son suspiciously. "And what have ye been gettin' yerself into now?"
The young man made a dismissive gesture. "I met Master Lead here and his young trainer Larekka. I simply congratulated her on a good fight and commented on the rarity of women trainers in the pit. I do hope no offense was taken."

Kkami straightened immediately. "Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to keep you. I ought to be getting back as well before Talan and Uncle Leder wonder where I've gotten to."

Lead said nothing more as it was ovous Talan was not going to say anything he glanced around slightly hoping however Larekka was coming. She had said she'd meet him here at this time.

Larekka smiled faitly, "It's okay. And I really need to get back to Lead I was supposed to meet him and some other breeder right now." then glancing at Tom she smiled softly seeing that Tom had fallen asleep his dragon curled up in his lap.
Gentaly picking up the hatchling and seating it next to it's mother she picked up Tom and opened the door, " Well why don't we hurry and change before we are both missed.."

Leder shook his head. "Sometimes the boy doesn't realize how he comes off to other people."
Talan briefly threw his father a dirty look and then changed the subject. "You have a beautiful farm, Master Lead. I hear many of your fighters have a lot of promise."

Kkami brushed off her skirts. "Good idea. Though I don't relish the idea of putting those pinching shoes back on. But it is time to go."
She tried to think bright thoughts of gratitute towards the hen dragon, but wasn't sure if she heard her or not.
"Thank you for showing me your dragon, Tom," said Kkami warmly, giving the boy a quick kiss on the cheek before he can protest.
"And thank you, Larekka, for taking me to the barn." And she gives Larekka a quick kiss on the cheek, too. "I rarely have such a good time at a party."

Lead chuckels slightly and nods, " So I'm told...I don't like to diside weither or not they are.." he said smurking slighly.

Tom glared at her slightly but said nothing.
Larekka smiled, " Me neither. But this is also my first year as a trainer.." she said exiting the barn and crossing the yard swifthly to the back door which she unlocked and then held open.

Leder pounded his host on the back enthusiastically. "You don't have to decide. The pits decide for you!"

"Your first year?" exclaimed Kkami. "You're so good. You must have grown up around dragons."
She paused before resuming on a tangent. "You have an awfully nice master to invite you to his parties with other masters." She clapped her hand over her mouth, flushing red with embarrassment. "I'm am so sorry! That came out all wrong."
As they walked around the side of the mansion, the faces of Leder and Lead became clear through one of the big windows. They were talking to a tall man with dark hair who had his back turned to the window, his face hidden.
"Oh, look!" Kkami exclaimed, glad for the distraction. "That's Leder, and that must be Talan. But who are they talking to?"

Lead looked a bit shokedatfirst but then he smiled and nodded.

Larekka chuckeled, " It's ok. But he is. I'm a bond girl but I'm one of his best rainers so yeay.." as Leder and Lead came into view Larekka cocked her head, " I have no clue. The blond man is my master Lead though."

"Really?" says Kkami as they walk in the back door of the mansion. "Your master is talking to my uncle and my cousin! Yay! I'll get to meet your master and you get to meet my family!"

Larekka smurks slightly, " I don't think I'll be to happy if your cosion is who I think he is.." she says as they enter her room and she puts on the dress and her other shoes.
" I need to hurry..Lead is a kind Master but he can get annoyed when I'm late.." she said smuking slightly.

Kkami kicks off the boots and jams her feet back into dress shoes, pretending she didn't hear the comment about Talan. Whoops. Forgot about that little encounter this morning.
"Okay, I'm ready," she asks. "Where's Tom's mother?"

Larekka pulled on her dress shoes and then glanced at Tom who was sleep on her bed grinning she said, " His mother is a good friend of mine. She'll come here and pick him up..Trust me he'll sleep for some time." And after puting a blanket on Tom she exited her room tossing her braid over her sholder again and walking over sso she could stand next to Lead.

Kkami slipped up silently ahead of Larekka and slid her arm into Leder's.
"Hello, uncle; hello, cousin," she said, at her most charming. She flashed Lead a blinding smile. "Do introduce us."

Larekka smiled softly her eyes fixed on Kkami so she was tempted to send Talan and evil glare.
Lead smiled slightly as Larekka joined them and said, " Master Lead this is Kkami. Kkami this is Master Lead.." she said receving a small grin from Lead who wasn't often called 'Master Lead' by her.
