Kkami's smile became even more brilliant. "Master Lead, delighted to meet you. I see you already know Talan and Leder. Uncle Leder, this is Larekka. Talan - " she coughed delicately. " - you remember Larekka."
The corners of Talan's mouth twitch in amusement. "Of course I remember Larekka, and I see Larekka remembers me, as well." He bows, but it's impossible to tell if the gesture is mocking or sincere. "You look lovely this evening."
Leder groaned inwardly. Oh, dear... To Larekka he only took her hand and said gravely, "Enchanted to meet you, my dear. I hear you're a fine trainer."

"So shall we get down to bisness?" Lead asks grinning slightly at Talan.
Larekka says nothing but stands next to Lead ignoring Talan.
A shot near them can be heard and Larekka groans slightly recognizing the vocie of Yalin. She shakes her head and then disappears into the crowd finding Yalin glaring down at Lead's newest trainer. Scoffing she picks him up by the colar, " Get to your room Fin.." she says calling him by his nickname and then throwing down on his feet and then glancing at Yalin who rolls her eyes and then crossed her arms walking away.
Sighing and turning to be sure Fin is gone Larekka sits down not going back to the group she had left just yet.

Kkami moved as if to follow Larekka, but Leder caught her arm.
"I'd like you to stay, Kkami," he told her. "You could be running the farm someday."
He addressed Lead, "You want to discuss business at a celebration? Let's enjoy tonight. Perhaps you could visit my farm sometime this week and stay as my guest. Then we can talk."

[After cooling down a bit Larekka took a deep breath and standing up she walked back over to the group giving Lead a look but then sighing slightly.
Lead nodded at Leder's words and then smiled slightly, " Sounds good.." he glanced at Larekka but said nothing to her givingg her a look that said, ' later..'/color]

Leder smiled happily and pumped Lead's hand vigorously. "Fantastic. I'll take my leave now. Dark After fast approaches, and we live a distance away. I'll expect you this week."
Talan also shakes Lead's hand, wishing him a good night. Kkami in turn tilts her head coyly as she says good night to Lead.
As she leaves, she grabs Larekka's arm and whispers in her ear, "Please don't be mad at me because of Talan. He's really not so bad, and anyway, he's not my real cousin. But I hope you come when Master Lead visits us. I can't wait to show you my dragons!"

Lead nodded, " Yes you best be on your way..." he glances around, " Most have already gone."
Larekka smiled at Kkami, " My problem is with him not you.." she said and smurked slightly, " I might be able to come..Who knows.."
After helping Lead soo out the straglers Larekka sits arcross from him at a table her eyes seeming odly cold, " Fin is geating in the way Lead...He may be good but he needs to learn how to behave himself around ladies.." she said shaking her head slightly.
Lead drank slightly from the large mug of water and nodded, " Yes I know but I told him to come it's not my falt he can't behave himself...Especially around blonds like Yalin and your friend Makkia.."

In the truck on the way home, Leder gavean exaggerated sigh. "Talan, how have you managed to already aggravate a man I hadn't even met yet?"
Talan laughed a little. "It really wasn't so bad as all that, Dad. I just teased his little trainer a bit, and discovered she's quite hotheaded for a girl."
Kkami whacked him over the head with her purse. "You'd know about hotheadedness, wouldn't you."
Talan grabbed the pursed and whacked her back, prompting Kkami to kick him hard, so he tickled her.
"Kids!" Leder roared. "Enough!"
Talan and Kkami looked straight ahead to keep from laughing.
"Now then," Leder began. "When Master Lead comes to visit our farm, you will both be polite - " Kkami began to interrupt, protesting she'd never done anything. Leder raised his voice to drown her out. " - you will BOTH be polite to Master Lead and to WHOMEVER HE HAPPENS TO HAVE WITH HIM."
Kkami pouted. "Talan, you jerk. You have to get me in trouble, too?"
"It's not my fault your new friend gets offended so easily!"
"It's not her fault you're a total jerk!"
Leder's voice once again resonated in the enclosed space. "SHUT. UP!"

After finishing her conversasion with Lead she went to her room leaving her hair in a braid so it wouldn't get to tangeled and after changing into her pajamas she yawned and slipped into bed receving a few febel sendings from her dragon as he went to bed knowing he wouldn't get any attention till morning.

Talan sat in the sitting room for awhile after Kkami had gone to bed, reading a book on the history of the Austarian class system and sipping a nightcap. Leder came in after an hour, seeing the light. He stood for a minute in the doorway, simply watching.
Without looking up from his book, Talan asked calmly, "What's up, Dad?"
"Are you going to the training ring tomorrow?"
"Maybe."
"You need to develop more familiarity with how dragons are trained."
"Says you."
"You're more suited for running the farm than Kkami. And you're my heir."
Talan tossed back the rest of his drink, closed his book, and stood up. He passed by his father, patting him on the shoulder.
"Good night, Dad."

Waking up at the normal time to get her few things done and then go teaining with her black Larekka woke up got dressed and ran out to clean the one stall she had to clean grinning slightly at the younge orange female who was very easy to work with.
After cleaning her stall and her Larekka rubbed gentaly above her eyeridge as she lay down to sleep then slipping out of the stall and walking over to the male's barn and receving patterns of excitment from her black.
Smurking when she entered the stall and he cmae over a miscevous look in his eyes she put his lead rope on and began walking him over to the training area knowing that Lead would be waiting for her.

Kkami slept in, which wasn't really unusual for the girl. She took her time getting breakfast and dressing, putting on boots and leather pants with a pretty but functional tunic. She wandered out to the training grounds on the farm, tracking down Garikk, head trainer and one of her favorite people.
"Hello, Miss Kkami," he greeted her, but kept his eyes on the slim brown in the ring.
"Hi!" she replied cheerfully, hopping up on the fence to watch. "Talan wasn't here today, was he?"
Garikk shook his head. "He walked by a few hours ago, when I first got here, but didn't stop."
"I never know where he is," complained Kkami.

Grinning at Lead as she let Fin take her black into the ring and she walked over crossing her arms and whatching her wor train, "He's getting better with comands..." she said speaking to Lead.
Lead nodded, " Yes...He still has his wild moments though." he smurked slightly as Larekka rolled her eyes as the black pranced around the training area his head held high.
"Or his prideful moments.." Larekka said rolling her eyes again.

"Hey," came a low voice. Talan stood behind Larekka, arms crossed coolly. He made a quick motion with his head to flip back the dark hair falling into his eyes. "I meant what I said yesterday morning. It was a good fight."
With that, he calmly turned and walked away.

Larekka ignored him keeping her thoughts on her worm and what he was doing.
She didn't totaly ignore him but nodded slightly still keeping her thoughts on her dragon.
Lead turned to her sighing slightly, "Have a name for him yet?"
" Nope still nothing in mind.." she said pulling herself half way up on the fence.

Talan got in his truck and drove off, feeling satisfied. He still wasn't sure why he thought he had to go make sure she knew he had been sincere about that one comment at least, but it had felt like the right thing to do, so he'd done it.
At least now he could tell Leder he'd been down to the training ring. Talan grinned. He didn't have to specify whose training ring.
