Kkami was certain tonight would be a disaster. Like father, like son; both Leder and Talan became sulky after big fights. Exactly the same. In situations like that, Kkami was almost glad she wasn't blood related to either of them.
Kkami picked out her clothes for later that evening, laid them on her bed, and wandered off to attempt to at least cheer up Leder. Talan would need at least a couple of hours before he would be halfway approachable.

Hoping into the truck and waiting for Lead Larekka opened her small bag and pulled out a small book that she drew and wrote in writing something down and then beging to draw a dragon. By the time Lead sat down and started the ruck she was about half way done with it.

Although Kkami'd been unable to pull Talan out of his recalcitrance, Leder was calmer and pleasant at the very least by the time Kkami returned to her room to change before Lead's arrival. She eyed herself critically in the mirror, then bit her lip and tore through her closet again, pulling out a blue ensemble that she thought would bring out her eyes more. She changed again, checked herself out in the mirror, and made a move towards her closet again, but the sound of a truck engine pulling in front of the house arrested her.

Larekka sighed and opened the door after putting her thins back in he bag and slinging it over her sholder. Lead took only a moment beofre getting out himself and then walking to the front of the truck and waiting for someone who might be there to meet them. Larekka smurked slightly and stood next to him.

A small round bondswoman appeared on the porch, holding open the door, while two middle-aged men approached the truck.
"Your luggage, master?" said one.

Lead smiled slightly and tossed the key to the back to one of them, " Here you are...And thankyou.." he said noding his head slightly. Larekka glanced at him as if to say she would rather get it herself but when she turned to go he grabed her arm. Rolling her eyes with a small smurk she turned and went in with Lead.

The little woman at the door bowed as she ushered them in the massive front doors into a wide, cathedral-ceilinged front hall.
"If you would," she said. "The master is waiting in the library. This way, please."
She lead them to a pair of open wooden doors at the end of the entryway.

Lead and Larekka followed. Lead entered the library glancing around a bit.

Leder stood up from behind a giant desk in front of a large window on the far side of the room. "Lead!" he boomed. "Fantastic to see you again. You, too, Miss Larekka."
He covered the space between them in a few giant strides and grabbed both by the shoulders enthusiastically. "My son will be joining us presently, but come, sit down. We'll start without him."

Lead grinned slightly as Larekka gave him a slightly shokked look. " Yes always a pleasure." Lead said taking a seat. Larekka sat next to him smiling but not at all liking the idea of seeing Talan again.

Kkami took that moment to slip in as casually as possible. Dressed in filmy blue, she was almost overdressed for a business meeting, but she did look nice. She sent a sparkling smile at Lead and Larekka.
"I'm so glad you're here!"

Larekka smiled back but said nothing and Lead gave a polite nod to her.

Kkami sat down daintily across from Larekka. Addressing Lead in a friendly, familiar tone, she said, "I do hope we'll be able to work out an arrangement. It's so much better for the bloodlines to mix up the blood of the farm dragons with dragons from other farms. Some breeders don't agree, of course; they want to keep the bloodlines pure. But I think it makes the dragons stronger. What do you think, Master Lead?"

"I would have to agree. Mixing the blood lines is one of the best ways to get a stronger dragon." Larekka gave a small nod of agreement. " My black is of mixed blood lines and look ow stronge he is.." she said simply grinning slightly.

"Exactly!" exclaimed Kkami, leaning forward conspiratorally. "Some breeders are such snobs; so unwilling to open up their precious worms to contact with some other breeder's worms. Silly men."
Leder scratched his nose with an amused look on his craggy face. "Don't know exactly why I even need to be here. My Kkami will handle all the business herself. Just like her father."
