Zefiryn gave a low laugh. "We're not going to snap at you, Kalina," she was quick to reassure. "We just want to know how you came to that conclusion." Gisele couldn't help a smiling nod of her own

The little hybrid pawed her nose nervously. "Do I really have to tell you? I forgot, anyway."
And it was true. Once her imagination was off and running, she rarely was able to catch the thread of thought and follow it back out to where it originated.

The two Gryvern shook their heads with a laugh. "Alright," Gisele said quietly.
"I think he's probably gone now anyway," Zefiryn put in, looking back briefly over her shoulder. "If I were he, I would have left."
Gisele gave a soft scoff, "I doubt that."
Zefiryn grinned brightly at her friend. "So, onward!"

Kalina tried not to look as relieved as she felt. She padded forward, falling into step between the two older females. She looked up at Zefiryn curiously. "What are you going to do when you find your brother? How are you going to find him?"

"The first thing I plan to do is jump him," Zefiryn replied amiable, flicking her green-tufted tail with a grin. "It's been far too long since i last saw him. He went off to explore, I suppose, as I did, but he came to this Reality as I went to another. As for finding him. . . well, Aniol is rather distinct. I think once we do pick up his trail it will be easy to follow him." This thought seem to amuse her. "And then I will introduce him to my friend Gisele," she suddenly recalled her point, turning to grin at her friend. Gisele took this with a small smile as Ryn leaned in close to Kalina, "I think i've found a match." She winked before lifting her head back up and pretending that nothing had been exchanged between them.

Kalina frowned, furrowing her brown. "Introduce him?" As she wondered why Zefiryn was planning to leave her out of the introductions, it was clear that the youngster wasn't entirely clear on the implications of the introduction Ryn was planning.
"Ow!" The noctiyer winced as she walked into a low branch and was whipped in the face.
Blinking bits of leaves out of her eyes, she continued her questions. "Well, how do you know you'll even find him in this direction? What if he's five miles back in the opposite direction?"
If they found someone, maybe they could ask for news of Zefiryn's brother. But then again, the only soul they'd come across so far had been that scary Miberu.

Zefiryn tilted her head slightly, wondering about Kalina's sudden frown. She generally seemed quite the light-hearted being. "We don't know he's not in the opposite direction," she admitted with a smile. "But that's half the fun of searching. Don't you agree?" She turned bright golden eyes down on the hybrid.
Gisele picked up on Kalina's sudden, well, grumpiness as well. She cast the smaller creature a concerned look, but decided to see if Ryn could pull her back out of it.

"Well, yeah," she responded doubtfully. "But I'm getting tired. And, um, hungry."

Zefiryn gave another laugh, leaning over to nuzzle the younger creature on the neck. "You are just so cute." She looked to Gisele, who nodded with a smile.
"Yes, I'll go see wot I can find." With that, the Eastern took to the sky, bright green eyes skimming for suitable prey. It wasn't long until she found a stream and a look of momentary joy swept her features before she back-tracked to find the others.
"There's a stream up ahead," she said calmly, for all her inner excitement.
"Really?" Zefiryn seemed a lot more excited, and she glanced to Kalina with that same glow. "Let's go fishing!"

"Fishing?!" Kalina squeaked. "I did that before! With Mum! Can we swim, too!?"
Tail wagging, ears perked, she danced in place for all of two seconds before bounding ahead at top speed.
