Finding Zelda [open rp]

[Briin'ken]

Briin'ken couldn't help but wag her tail at more friendly company. She had traveled far and wide and had seen many different things but had never known anything like the dragon, however.

Facing the.. partially transparent? dragon, she managed a greeting, "Um, hi, I'm Briin'ken.. otherwise known as Briin, what's your name? I'd like to know too!"

She smiled at the dragon once more, then grinned at the rest of them as well.

Turning to Garnet again, Briin'ken caught her eye and softly said, " I'm sorry about Zelda, Garnet.." then she grinned and said, "I'll help you find her! Ready when you are-oh, wait! I have to get something quick.."

The wolf jumped and beat the air with her draconic wings, steadily gaining altitude. As she landed on the branch where she had previously been lounging, she peered around the leaves, searching for an object. She noticed a gleam by the tree's trunk and gently picked the thing up in her teeth. She then floated down to the ground once again.

Out of her jaws dropped a silver chain with a sort of bluish-green and orange amulet attached to it..

[Belladandy]

"What be that?" Ask Anocher looking at the gem.

[MadMooCow]

"Ah, just call m,e the Red dragon... my name is long forgotten" he sighs "hello Briin"

[Briin'ken]

Briin'ken wagged her tail at both the Red Dragon and Anocher.

"Well, I'm not exackly (sorry inside joke-exactly-) sure what it's for, or what it does, but my brother gave it to me a long time ago. He said to guard it with my life or something to that effect.."

She nosed the necklace then sighed, " He seemed pretty serious, so I'm taking care of it! This jewel reminds me of my brother, every time I look at it. The colors on it are just like my brother's colors. We share the same color genes for the most part, but he is of a darker in hue than I am."

The wolf moved her wings a bit, making them more comfortable, staring at the small colored jewel lying on the forest floor in front of her.

"But enough about my brother, what about Zelda? We should start our journey, no?"

[Belladandy]

"Agreed, but which direction?"

[Briin'ken]

Briin'ken shrugs her shoulders, and looks at Anocher. "I have no idea which direction Zelda might have gone.."

[Briin'ken]

I have to go for now, probably be on after school tomorrow.. ^_^

[Nippy]

"Ohh... it's a very beautiful gem," said Garnet, gazing at the gem with admiring eyes. After a short while, she turned away from the pretty gem and turned to the red dragon with a smile. "Okay, then, Red. Can I call you Red for short? It's more of a name then 'red dragon' is, since I'm sure there's more than one out there... if you don't mind, that is. And as for Zelda... I've covered that part of the forest already." She turned around and pointed to the half of the forest behind the stream. "We should go the other way since I've already gone there, unless you want to recheck it."

[Briin'ken]

"I'm game!"

[Belladandy]

Anocher headed off in the direction that Garnet indicated. He walked slowly not to be too far away from the others. Sometimes he get on all fours like an animal sniffing the ground hoping to find some clue of Zelda. He growled softly unable to find anything yet but what he may not find the others might more fortunate.

"Wait!" Getonma cried, leaping over the stream and running after Anocher. She ran in front of him and stopped him, holding out a long golden necklace she had pulled from a pocket. "Here. If you're tracking, use this. It was hers. It has her scent on it." She handed it to Anocher, then sniffed the ground as well and started off deeper into the forest.

[Briin'ken]

With some difficulty Briin'ken nosed the necklace around her muzzle, only to have it drop off again when she raised her head.

"Um, yeah.. I'll be there in a sec guys!" She called to the two who were heading away into the forest. She attempted to pick it up in her teeth, succeeding, but also getting a mouthful of dirt and pine needles. Ignoring the urge to gag, she flung the jewel into the sky and quickly spat out the dirt. She looked up and moved her head a little to the left to get right under the falling necklace and in one swift movement, Briin'ken was wearing the gem around her furry neck.

Arching her neck some, she declared "Oh yeah.. I am soo good."

Then she caught sight of the other two who were still moving on and sprinted to catch up.

"I can search from the sky if you want." she panted slightly, "It might be a little harder to see through the trees, but I can also see clearings where Zelda might be."

[Nippy]

"Ohh that'd be wonderful!" Garnet exclaimed cheerily. "You can fly... you're so lucky! It'd be such fun to fly... What's it like?" Her eyes began to sparkle as she thought of herself with wings, flying around in the sky quickly with ease. "Have you been anywhere interesting? Somewhere you can only go by flight? Ohh how I'd love to fly... I'd go all over the place! I'd travel across the world and meet new creatures and people and discover things and..." When she realized she was rambling, she quieted herself and blushed slightly from embarrassment.

[Charon]

The ancient green dragon stepped out, from his nest in the old oak. He had tuffs of white hair on either side of his head, and a pair of spectacles on his snout. He carried a large tome.
"I'm sorry to read about Zelda, but I to have lost loved ones and have decided to join your noble quest." he stated.

[Briin'ken]

Trotting alongside Garnet, Briin'ken smiled at her then turned her head to look at the newest arrival.

"Hi! That's great that you want to help! Garnet, we'll find Zelda in no time! So what's your name?"

Turning back to Garnet she replied, "It's great! I can take you for a ride sometime if you wish.. In fact we could go right now!"
