"Yes, perhaps I can be more hep than you think. This book, you see, is the great TOME OF THE HOURGLASS" the dragon explained, "And all things are recorded in it. So, perhaps, it says where Zelda is." he continued as he opened it to the last page. A frown came across his face.

Garnet smiled at Briin. "Yes! I'd love to go for a ride! Someday. And Zelda would-" She paused, stopping herself. Her voice became disapointed. "-love it. I'm sorry for my depressing mood. I'll be happier later, when we can fly." She tried to muster a smile, but it didn't work, so she sighed instead. Then she turned and looked at the new dragon with dismay. Many bad thoughts ran through her head until she spoke. "Why are you frowning? What's wrong? Does it say anything about her?" she asked.

"Ok, whenever you want, just ask for a ride Garnet!"
Turning to face the dragon Briin'ken asked, "Yeah, what's up? You don't look so happy.."

Anocher walked twards the green dragon up eyeing the TOME OF THE HOURGLASS. He knew a little about magic books. Smiling he wonder if this book recorded the many times his one friend spent here. When he had the time he'll ask about her. It would be very interesting to know what kind of adventures she had.
His toughts turned to the presant and a waited the drangon's answer.

Garnet grinned at Briin. "Wow, really? Cool! Thanks! I'd love to! Yes, I'll let you know. Say, I'm sure you've been somewhere other than in the forest. Would you mind telling a tale, if you have one?" she asked with a smile, but was still thinking of what the Tome of the Hourglass said about Zelda. She calmed herself down to be patient for an answer, but also wondering what the dragon's name was in the first place...

"Hmmm.. I guess I have a few stories.."
Shifting her front paws around, Briin'ken recalled a time in her life when she was just a couple years old.
"Well, although I was healthy and strong, I was still a pup in some ways, I still relied on others to help me survive, and I didn't have that much experience in the real world."
She paused, her families faces flashing before her eyes.
"My father.. I never met him, but my mother was so kind and gentle. I also remember my brother.. such a brave wolf.. protecting my mother and I as best as he could from- um.. from.. things."
Briin'ken sighed inwardly and decided to tell the rest of the group about the tyrant.
"Actually.. he tried protecting us from Bashier (pronounced buh sheer).. the evil warlord who was taking over our homeland.."
Her eyes welled up with tears at the next thought.
"He hurt my brother.. really bad. I was young at the time and don't remember exactly what happened but I do know that the monster's army took him away and my mother and I never saw him again."
A single tear trickled down Briin'ken's face and she quickly turned her head to the side hide it.
"Well, shortly after-" Briin's words caught in her mouth and she shook her head.
"Just give me a few mintues please.. I'm sorry."

Garnet shook her head. "I-I'm sorry. I had no idea... I'm sorry to hear of your loss. But I'm sure your brother is safe now... wherever he is." She glanced at the sky, then back down at Briin. She laid a comforting paw on her friend's shoulder. "You don't have to continue, Briin. I didn't mean to bring up such bad memories for you."

"I.. I just thought I'd be ready to talk about it now.. but I guess I was wrong," I sighed, still shedding a few tears at the memory, "I hope he's ok Garnet.. I love him so much, he's the best brother ever."
She turned to the ancient dragon and asked once more, "Sir? What is your name? What does that book say?"

"I'm sorry I was re-reading the page, but Zelda isn't here." The dragon mumbled. "She was in here, but now she's gone! This means that she is in another dimension, or protected by strong magic." He looked up at them. "I'm sorry......."

"Ancoher understands," he spoke softly to Briin'ken. "Anocher was slave to Warlock for a time." Warlock take away Anocher's memory. Anocher don't know who he is. Or where he's from."
Anocher sighed and then changing the subject to a more important mater. He turn to Garnet.
"Anocher wonder if Garnet or Zelda hace any enemies?"

"Thank you Anocher," Briin'ken whispered.
She then faced Garnet, waiting to hear her reply.

Garnet bowed her head. "I'm sorry to hear of your pasts... but Briin, maybe as we go along looking for Zelda we could find your brother... and Anocher, maybe as we go along you could try harder and harder to remember? Maybe some things could jog your memories or something... it all depends," she said.
"And as for our enemies, Anocher," she continued, "I'm pretty sure I didn't have any, but I'm not sure about Zelda... she never spoke of her past or anything like that. There was a lot of mystery about her. I'd ask about some things and she'd just say something like 'I'll tell you later' or 'Let's not talk about that'. And after that, she'd never tell me. I have no idea if she has any enemies or not, but if she was taken then I think she may have some."
Garnet then lifted her head. Her eyes grew wide as she listened to the green dragon speak. "In... another dimension? Strong magic? How are we supposed to get past that? I'm no sorceress, or time-slash-dimension traveler, but then again I don't know if any of you are. B-b-b-ut dragon," she stopped and paused, her face suddenly going pale at the thought, "Could her disappearance from the book also mean she's dead?" Secretly, she hoped he'd say no...

A portal traveler? There were many portal traveler out there. None that he knew of save for his one friend but she would never commit such a crime. He wished she were where here, she alway seem to have luck in finding things or people.
"Anocher thinks Zelda was hiding something. No want Garnet to know her past." Anocher said. "Anocher thinks she must have good reason to hide any secrets."

Garnet looked at the ground. "I think you're right. But why would she hide something from me? Maybe her kidnapping has something to do with her past, however... if only she had told me!" She pounded her paw on the ground in frustration, then turned to the general party. "Does anyone know someone who can portal travel, or can any of you portal travel yourselves?" She bit her lip. It was a hard question to ask. She didn't know anyone who could do it.
