Finding Zelda [open rp]

[Briin'ken]

"I don't know how to Garnet, I am so sorry."

Then, thinking about portal traveling some more, something triggered in her memory.

"I remember that my brother could, I was told that he had learned from my father how to portal travel. But I don't think that could help us right now, I'm sorry again Garnet."

Briin'ken lowered her eyes and hoped.. prayed that someone would be able to portal travel.

[Charunplugged]

"No, No" the green Dragon shook his head. " She is not in another dimension." he said. "any travel that large would be in the book. So, she must be protected by a strong magic." he looked to the sky, "Stronger than any before," he glanced at the book. "Perhaps a Recorder. But the only live in the Recors' Garden." he continued.
"By the way, I'm Charon Dragon, perhaps you've heard of my home, at Charon_Dragon.tripod.com." He bowed so low his snout touched the grass.

[Belladandy]

"Anocher know of someone, but she not here." Anocher answered.

[Nippy]

Garnet smiled at Briin and snapped her fingers in front of her friend's face so her eyes looked up again. "Hey, don't be so glum," she said reassuringly, "You can't get anywhere in life with that look on your face. Sure, you gotta look down a few times to see where you're going... but keep your head up and be confident, and you can do anything you want to! Don't worry, we'll find out what happened to your brother." She grinned, then turned to Charon Dragon with a look of puzzlement on her face. "A Recorder? Hmm... I've never heard of them before. What are they?"

[Briin'ken]

Briin'ken peeked at Garnet and was truly thankful for a friend like her. Her resolve strenthened and she knew she would do anything to help Garnet find Zelda.

"A recorder!?" she asked Charon, "I've never heard of them either!"

[Charunplugged]

"A recorder is a.... it's hard to explain..... They're secret beings. Hiding from mortal eyes. I've only met one." he read a page in his book. "They each guard an element. Fire, Water, Earth, Sky, Metal, Fauna, Light, and Dark." He smiled, remebering his old Recorder friend. "Though they have strong magic, their opposite element can easily destroy them." he looked to the side, a tear rolled down his eye.
"That is how Ravi died." he looked at his new friends. "Sorry, didn't mean to get so dramatic." he straightened himself. Then, returning to the point at hand, he sadi. "Did Zelda have an element, that perhaps she favored?"

[Belladandy]

Anocher listened carefully. He knew about element creatures. Strong in magic they were and if they were not in good will, an enemy to greatly fear. If indeed they were up against Recorders there might be a fight. A fight against a powerful enemy. Anocher shifted uneasily. Could the company stand up to such powers?
He hardy escaped from his master’s claws, could he come to grounds with even a greater foe?

[Nippy]

Garnet bit her lip, deep in thought. "Hmm... well I'm pretty sure she was afraid of the dark. She always had to be in right before the sunset or she'd get very scared. I thought it was odd. There's nothing to be scared of here-" She stopped and cleared her throat, realizing she was getting off-subject. "Sorry. Anyway, even though she was scared of the dark, she'd get up at the crack of dawn and sometimes we'd go playing. She loved the daytime, regardless of whether it was raining, snowing, or whatever. She'd always go out and play." She paused and made a puzzled face. "Now I don't know if that helps but... yeah. That's all I can think of."

[Belladandy]

"Maybe Zelda's element is Light?" Anocher said. "Or she have someting more to fear."

[Nippy]

"That's exactly what I was thinking," Garnet said with a firm nod of her head. "And the opposite of Light is Dark... so..." She paused and bit her lip. "Where do we go from here?"

[Belladandy]

"Find Zelda by sent. Look for footprints." Anocher answer. "Anocher thinks it best if waaee spread out. Find Zedla.

Anocher blink his purple eyes. He said "we" or at least tried to.

[Carunplugged]

"I'm sorry, but I can't help in a fight against Dark." He looked sad, "I'm the element of Light." He mumbled something that no one could hear.
"Sorry...." He turned to the tree, "I wish I could help....." He started to enter, opening the book. He dissappeared into the shadows.

[Belladandy]

Anocher stared into empty space where Carun left. So he too was an Recorder.
He muttered a farewell and begain once again tring to find any sign of Zelda.

[Briin'ken]

Briin'ken peered into the shadows which Charon had faded into, wondering about the strange dragon. She shook her head and sighed.

"So I guess maybe he lives in that tree.." Briin'ken said thoughtfully. "I wonder if there is anything else in there that could aid us? Or if he knows anyone that could help us rescue Zelda?"

She looked again into the tree and thought about going in to talk to Charon some more.

"I'll be right back guys."

She began to move towards the tree.

[Charon]

"Why have you come, back?" The dragon asked. "I can't help you, unless you want me too, even then, there isn't much I can do." he turned away, to hide his tears, "All my friends leave me...."
