Garnet bit her lip. "Okay... be careful..." she said. After they were out of sight, she turned to Charon. "Okay! Let's set up camp. But... where do we begin?"
Inside the cave, there was a damp smell. It was very dark, of course, and here and there, there were small ledges coming out from the side. Around the first corner, there was a sudden drop. To their left, there was a small sign. It read:
"The First Test: Physical Strength"
Right above the large gap was a swinging rope...

Anocher stared at the sign. "Odd," he said and pulled on the rope testing it.

"Test of strength?" Briin'ken wondered aloud, "Well, I suppose we have to make it over to the other side. I can just fly over.."

"Anocher shall climb rope," he said and giving the torch to Briin'ken he added. "You'll have to carry torch to other side. Anocher needs both hands for to use rope."

The wolf gently took the torch in her teeth, making sure she didn't touch the flames to her fur. She took a few running steps and launched herself into the air. Even though it was dead air, she still had no trouble flying over the pit. Briin'ken landed softly on the other side and turned, the torch still in her jaws, waiting for Anocher.

Anocher grabed the rope and swung to the other side. He was uneasy. Someone was testing them but for what purpose. What would happen if they passed? What if they failed? He tried to hide his fears, not wanting it to pass on to his companion. Taking back the torch from Briin'ken. "We go on." He said. "Anocher belives there will be more tests on the way..."

The walk through the cave became tedious, as there were no more 'tests' for quite a while. When they reached the back of the cave, it seemed to be a dead end. But if they looked further, in the far right corner of the dead end, there was a lever to be pulled. And next to the lever was a sign that read:
"Second Test: Reflex"

Anocher gently put his hand on the lever. If this was a trap let him be the one who takes it. He pulled the lever and prepared himself for what was to come.

((hehe if you're wondering why I'm never logged in, it's because I'm too lazy to get the password from the other computer... ^_^; ) Suddenly, a large block of cement dropped from the ceiling. It was the exact width of the cave. It came at a great speed down, but it was just thin enough so they could jump out of the way, or get hit by it...

"I hope they're okay." Charon said to Garnet. "I have a bad feeling about this cave." He blew a flame into the fire.

((Lol, I'm just too lazy to type in my password^_^))
Briin'ken was suspecting a trap when Anocher had pulled the lever and quickly dodged the falling block. She was unable to suppress a scream as she felt the block graze her heels. She frantically called to her friend, "Anocher! Hurry!"
