"Caste. . . " Katya echoed faintly, staring suddenly and studiously at Griksei's feet before answering very, very softly. "I don't have one." It obviously flustered her as a faint hue of pink touched her cheeks for a moment.
The little mix turned almost desperately to Teyah once the tsume gave her name. "You're a tsume, then? I've never heard of your kind. Wot a lovely name you and. . your . . species has. . . " she finished almost lamely, realizing that not only was her reaction likely rude to Griksei but Teyah might take offense at wot she was saying. "I'm sorry," she apologized to the pair, not certain how to vocalize properly wot she meant, though her awkwardness came out clearly in her tone and demeanour.
This trio wasn't the only one in the woods just now as occasionally the faint sound of music might float across the breeze. . . It wasn't getting any closer or father, simply louder or softer according to the piece.

Griksei watched as the mix began to study his feet... He had guessed that she didn't have one before she said anything because of her sudden attentive nature to the ground... But that was ok, there were plenty of things out there that did not have a specific job, she might not even live with other gryvern. When she turned to Teyah, in what looked to be a desperate escape from his attention he just shrugged, it was ok he occasionally frightened people and it seemed to be a sensitive topic. "Don't worry about it." he answered simply in response to her apology.
He pretty much ignored the tsumes rambling, he hadn't met any of the things she refered to and didn't want to share a pool of water with her, no matter the size. "I'm going to try and find some water that is fish, or tsume free." he said with a sigh as he scanned the horizon... Guess it was the walk in one direction until he spotted something tactic now... Although he decided to head in the general direction of the music.

Katya hesitated as the large male moved off. She wasn't concerned about being rude, but, egads, this was the first gryvern she'd ever actually met, not seen from afar and not a corpse. The opportunity was just too much to pass up. "Uhm," she hesitated, glancing back at the pretty blue creature again. "Bai. . . " And she moved after the larger male, still doing her floating walk.
She trotted to catch up, then slowed her pace only slightly so she could keep up with his longer strides. The blue mix didn't walk beside him, but slightly behind and to his left. Now that she was nera to him again, she couldn't think of anything to say, and so just paid attention to their surroundings. She wondered at the strange music that was floating through the air, growing louder as they drew closer. It was no song she recognized, which wasn't saying much, but as the trio was playing straight from their own hearts, it wasn't likely to be a song Griksei recognized either.

Griksei looked back as the little blue mix had followed him, and was expecting her to move up to his flank... But she apparently was a little shy or something so he slowed down then stopped so that she would be to his side, backing up if neccesary. "So are you out here on your own?" he asked before prompting her to move beside him as they walked... It was hard to talk to someone who was lagging behind, especially if you wanted to pay attention to what was around as well.
He didn't recognize the song in the slightest, or even some of the instruments. but he liked music, and most creatures that were capable of such nice a art were generally not bloodthirsty savages, which was reassuring. He kind of hoped they were not tsumes though, that was just because how weird all the ones he met thus far had been.

The gryvern did have to back up a few steps before Katya figured out wot was going on. The little mix stopped, ears drooping slightly in embarrassement. But Griksei wasn't making a big deal of it, so she soon relaxed again. "Oh. . ah. . . well, yes," she answered, uneasily. She wasn't supposed to be here and certainly wasn't supposed to be speaking to strangers, even more specifically not gryvern strangers, but she was determined to break ties with her past. Even if it was determined to keep up with her.
Surely she wasn't that important to her father, however. .. still. . . "Well," she offered hesitantly. "I came alone, but I'm not certain if. . . someone's looking for me."
The unseen players still weren't moving from wherever they were, and likely would continue on until someone stopped them.

He smiled at her when she seemed rather nervious, and when she mentioned she was alone it seemed slightly odd to him... But when she continued on to say someone might be looking for her he nodded, He got the feeling she did not especially want to be found. It was a good thing that this place was so big. "Well, perk up. I think you'll be able to wander around here until you want to be found... It's an awfully big place." he said then chuckled and nudged her in the direction of the music. "How about we continue, I think we might be missing a concert of some sort." He said jokingly and began to walk again, pausing to make sure that she would be beside him this time.
She did seem rather uh.. Strange, he was beginning to become interested in exactly what she was mixed with... It must have been very pretty, and small... Unless that came from the gryvern side but it didn't seem too likely.

"I don't want to ever be found!" Katya burst out a bit vehemently, then caught herself and flushed again. Right, well. She trailed along with him, staying alongside without noticing this time. Griksei would recognize the species she was mixed with if she told him, but her genetics didn't show it in the least and she was going to avoid talking about it as much as possible. Unless he asked her directly, since she wasn't all that good at saying no.
The music was swelling just before them and a few steps would bring them to a small stream whose gentle bubbling simply added to the three players lounging beside it. They were large and white, striped with black and complimented by their blue hair. The one with the cello watched them with suspicious eyes, but the other two seemed lost in their music, playing with a single-minded devotion.
Either Griksei and Katya had fabulous timing, or the triplets were just good enough to stop without sounding like they were rushing it, the song came to a slow, gentle end. The two females blinked open their eyes, turning towards their audience nearly in unison.
"Who are you?" came the deep bass of the male with the cello.

He didn't seem incredibly surprised... Well, he didn't seem surprised at all by her outburst, and just looked at her and grinned a little. "Really? Who are you-..." he paused as he saw the musicians come into sight, and then decided to let it rest for now... If he was going to talk about something important and or personal it was best not to do it in public.
He really liked the music, and rarely got to hear anything like that especially live... "More tsumes? Huh... I'm Griksei, care to introduce yourselves?" He looked from one to the other, then the other... The markings were pretty strange, were they tattoos? nah... They seemed alittle more natural.
He moved almost absent mindedly halfway infront of katya, incase they were not as friendly as they first appeared.

Katya was glad for Griksei's move, hiding a bit more and peeping very slightly around a large purple leg. Golden eyes watched the giants with trepidation and curiousity. More tsumes? But they were nothing like the one back in the pond. . .
There was a pause, almost a hesitation before the male responded, opening his mouth and giving a deep refrain. After another beat, the floutist answered, giving a happy, soprano addition, added by her sister with a run of notes. They stared a bit expectantly at the pair then.
The female with the flute tilted her head at them with more evidence of curiousity than her sibs, adding to the weighted gaze a simple, if melodically spoken question, "And just wot are you?" She seemed faintly amused that he felt the need to pronounce their species. Of course, it was evident that he wasn't a tsume, and, she guessed, neither was the small blue thing hiding behind him.

Those were interesting names... Musical notes? or maybe whatever that series of them were called together. That was pretty strange. But uh, to each their own... Whatever that meant. He glanced back at the small mix that was hiding behind him and then looked back at the tsumes with a grin. "Gryvern, and I'm sorry but I don't know how to say you'r names..." He said sounding a little embarressed, but sounding like he was justified in not knowing what it was supposed to be.
This trio was definitely strange, but they seemed atleast a bit more stable (and less whiney) than the ones he had met so far. He just wondered how long it'd be before they started breathing fire, or talking to themselves... Or flirting with him. he barely managed to contain a shudder at remembering his encounter with... That one...

The male flattened his ears slightly, continuing to stare suspiciously at the purple creature. He doesn't appear to be the most trusting of individuals. The sister with the drum is even less inclined to talk, watching the pair silently. She was obviously interested in their conversation, just unwiling to participate herself.
"Gryvern," the tsume with the flute tasted the word, giving a lilt that Griksei had not. "Wot a strange word." She glanced at her siblings again before looking back at the pair. "We understand that we are not named for convience," her words rise and fall with inner rhythm. "We answer to Ralle," she gestured to her sister. "Cresce," next her brother. "And Trill." She placed a slender paw to her own chest. "It is hoped to be a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Griksei." There's a great deal of amusement in her words as she faintly trills his name.
Katya continued to watch the others, bumping very slightly into Griksei's legs at the tsume's names. How odd and fun. . . at least, so she thought. She was, however, just fine with her own name. She liked being Katya.

He wondered if they simply chose to give their speech such a odd rhythem, or if there was something that compelled them to do so, it was always hard to tell... But it didn't really change what they were saying, just made it harder to pick out the emotions and such. "It's a pleasure to meet you three, we heard you playing and decided to come see who was playing, You'r very good." he said in an attempt to make some sort of conversation... It was rather hard to talk with three siblings or something staring at you intently while not really making that much of an attempt to spark a conversation of their own.
He barely noticed that she bumped into him, but gave her a quick glance just incase she had been trying to signal him or something.

The three bowed their heads in unison at the compliment, the move practiced and smooth. Ralle begins to quietly play her drum again, a low undertone to their conversation, as Trill continues to be their spokesperson.
"We thank you," the female replies with a small smile. She pauses for a few beats, glancing down and back at Katya as well. The mix tucks her head slightly, before glancing up again. Well, they didn't seem as angry as the water tsume. Of course, a full-sized gryvern hadn't jumped on any of these tsume. The cello suddenly began to sing with the drum and Katya had to peep back out to watch some more. Trill smiled at the small creature, glancing back up at Griksei, "Is she yours?" Was she his wot, the tsume didn't specify, letting the gryvern answer that however he wanted.

Griksei smiled at the three, they must practice together alot... Or something, heh maybe they were crazy only in a less dangerous, and more entertaining manner. He nodded when trill acknowledged his compliment.
When she looked at Katya he glanced over too, it was rather cute how she hid behind him it made him feel kind of... Important. When he was asked whether she was his he looked back and hesitated before responding... Sure, he was trained to move and kill with speed, silence and without hesitation but when it came to social interactions he may as well be a warrior. "She's my friend. uh... Are you siblings?" he asked as he looked across the trio.

Trill gave a small, amused, trilling laugh. "Yes, we are triplets." She spoke the word in triplets as well, then twitched her ears slightly and resettled her wings in an equally rhythmic movement, moving in time with the sound of her brother and sister's music. Cresce was still watching them closely, but Ralle seemed content to just listen without comment or suspicion.
Cresce and Trill were both curious about the newcomers, but really only Trill was comfortable in just asking questions. Cresce was used to interrogating, not asking, and had long since been requested by his sisters to stop escalating fights. ^^;; As such, he just let Trill do the talking until he had to step in to defend them.
Trill was hesitant to press too far into this gryvern's history and motives, though he did seem amiable to conversation. "We are Music Tsume," Trill offered as well, adding a slight questioning gaze as though to inquire wot Griksei was.
