Well, that confirmed his suspicions... He had never met triplets until now, although they were not identical to eachother, it was still neat. It was pretty interesting just how much they seemed in 'tune' with eachother and their music. It would be pretty difficult to accomplish something like that without a lot of practice.
He wondered why only that one was talking, even though he was glad he didn't have to answer all three of them at once... It would have been annoying, but as it was he felt kind of bad talking during the music. "Ah, I'm a light Gryvern, of the Assassin caste..." he pauses then grins and waves a paw dismissively "Don't worry I'm not on a mission or anything." He sounded somewhat sincere, but with him it was always hard to tell. Of course, if he was on a mission he probably wouldn't have simply walked up to them... If they were the target.

His response surprised Trill and she blinked at him, tilting her head slightly even as Cresce suddenly glared pointedly at the other male. He didn't stop playing his cello, however, instead contenting himself with a small harrumph, which might have been more effective if it hadn't been so very well in tune with his cello. Ah, well.
Trill couldn't help another amused laugh, "I'm pleased to learn you're not here to slay any of us. Our trio would be incomplete without all three of us." She gave a small smile, then one ear flicked towards his sibs and she played a short refrain on her flute. Her gentle sound eased some of the darkness in the other pair and she turned back to Griksei, apparently not in the least put off by speaking in the middle of their own concert. "So, you aren't here on a mission. Why, then, have you come to the Orchard's woods?"
Katya was also listening in on the conversation before inching slightly forward, ears perked up. She stood beneath Griksei, still slightly hugging his back leg, though she was slowly making her way to his fore. She was impressed by the music and the emotions evident within. The cello had sounded angry and dangerous, until the short flute part, and now it was as though the music was simply curious and wary. Mayhaps that was the feeling of the group overall?

Griksei looked over at the male tsume, he could sense the glaring and was pretty sure he did not really want an assassin in their presence... Luckily it seemed that the others did not share that feeling. "I'm just exploring, This place is a lot different than where I come from." He said with a sigh... He kind of liked it here better.
Griksei didn't doubt for a second that all of the music that was produced reflected the feelings or emotions of the group, or that individual in the group since they seemed so in touch with it... To a rather extreme degree.
His attention was suddenly drawn to the small mix which apparently had taken up residence underneath of him. It was pretty amusing, especially since she was small enough that it was still possible even when she was a adult. He just hoped she didn't tickle him or anything, on purpose or accident... And it was rather tempting to sit on her or something, but he didn't think she'd appreciate it.

"In a good way, I presume?" Trill put in lightly, giving yet another soft laugh. She didn't seem amused so much as that gentle trilling laughter was a natural bubbling of an inner, cheery self. "Are you exploring for something in particular or. . . ?"
Katya was unaware of Griksei's attention, divided as it might be, continuing slowly beneath his frame to hide behind one of his forelegs, ears perking up again. The gentle conversation seemed to be working its way over the other tsume as well, though Ralle did seem just a bit oblivious to the whole thing. The mix inspected the others curiously, leaving Trill to Griksei for now. She felt better, more confident, beside ( or underneath ) Griksei. Almost as though she'd found a lost bit of herself.
Cresce was still obviously watching Griksei, but even his suspicion seemed to be flagging slightly as Trill and the gryvern spoke. The male was heavily scarred and apparently no stranger to fighting. Katya wondered how a musician could be pulled into such violence. He seemed at ease with the duality of his nature, thought perhaps that was just her imagination.

He nodded at her first assumption, then shook his head "I'm just satisfying my Curiousity, It is the first time I'v seen, let alone have gone to a place like this... Do many uh... Realities, or worlds have this much water on them?" he asked as he eyed the stream again. He didn't want to splash around right now but it was so strange to see water in this much abundance.
He quickly removed his attention from it though, and brought it back to the three... He would probably have started pacing or something if he hadn't such a cute obstruction to his legs at the moment. Griksei couldn't help but feel atleast a little silly with Katya hiding underneath him though. Atleast she was happy though, and it didn't bother him since he was always happy to help other gryvern... Even if it was just being a dual shade structure and hiding spot.

Trill hrrmed thoughtfully, glancing at the small stream and apparently forgetting the question for a moment as she crooned a gentle tune that used the sound of the water as a harmony. After a moment the other two picked up the new song, and then Trill blinked and smiled gently at Griksei again, "I don't know of many. . . worlds?" she made the word a question as she wasn't certain that's wot he meant by Realities, "That don't have water. Is it that different from your. .. Reality?" the word choice, unsurprisingly, seemed to amuse her.
Katya's attention was split between the sudden shifting of songs, back to a gentle melody that accentuated their surroundings, and Griksei and Trill's conversation. She couldn't help a small shudder when she thought of their barren and harsh home Reality. The few, still pools of stagnant water all that the gryverns could easily reach as the other two significant water sources, one a small pool of actually good water, and the other a larger source of less than good water, were guarded by the Poisontails. Of course, that was beside the point. Katya huddled closer to Griksei's leg. She might have been near the large pool of water, but that didn't mean she was ever allowed to go close to it.

Griksei shrugged "Ah, you know... Places that are not connected physically... Like this place, Either other worlds or Realities.." He didn't really understand it that much himself but he just knew it was places that were not neccesarily even in the same universe. When she asked whether his reality was different than that... He nodded. "There is very little water in my Reality, and that which is left is usually stagnant and dirty because of the number of gryverns that must share it." It was kind of depressing to think about it, everywhere he went there was free flowing water and lush grasslands but still so many gryvern stayed in those wastelands that were their home.
He moved one of his paws and rubbed Katya's head reassuringly, She was looking kind of more confident... If you didn't count the fact that she was currently positioned underneath of him and peeking out from between his forelegs. but uh... That was beside the point.

Trill gave a small distressed run of notes, the reaction subconscious. "How horrible," she sympathized gently. "At least you are now free to find more water." She gestured with her flute towards the stream. "We would never hesitate to share, and I must encourage you to make free use of the water in our vicinity."
The drum gave a slow beat, as though echoing Trill's sentiment and the tsume sent a brief, grateful smile to her sister. Ralle inclined her head, then went back to her almost but not quite distracted air. Cresce tilted his head at the gryverns, "Is this why you explore?" His speaking voice is as deep as his cello, the words pulled from his throat as a bow pulls notes from strings.
Katya breathed a small sigh at Griksei's touch. She'd never had something like that before. Her father's species was hard and cruel and her mother had died giving her life. She leaned more firmly into his leg, obviously pleased to be there, even as she relaxed despite herself.

Griksei smiled at the distressed sounding notes, it was strange but it was very useful... He was pretty good at judging emotions (well... In other people atleast.) But it was so much easier when their music portrayed it so clearly for them to hear. Too bad none of the gryverns at home did that. "Thanks for your offer, I'v already gotten enough for awhile though." he said with a smile, looking over at Ralle for a moment before the male spoke.
"No, I am just curious... Even if I had come to ferry water back to my reality, I don't have the capability." he asnwered simply... He had already given his reason for being out here but perhaps he was not listening? Eh, oh well he wasn't the one talking anyways.
Hmm... He'd have to ask what Katya was mixed with, it seemed familiar... But he couldn't really place it. He'd wait till later though, she didn't seem that proud of it.. Or she was just very shy in general.

Cresce made a noncommittal, if also musical sound, as though he didn't believe that anyone would just go about explorer just to look at things. His sister gave another high trill of laughter at her brother and he sent her an indulgent look. His suspicion extended to strangers only, but she was sure he'd loosen up soon enough. Griksei seemed very kind despite his violent Caste. Wotever that meant. She supposed it must be a job, however, from how he'd worded himself earlier. The tsume also wondered about his friend, but the tiny creature hadn't spoken once and she didn't want to increase its evident discomfort by drawing further attention, so she waited for his friend to relax enough to want to speak.
"Is there a plan to bring water back to your Reality?" Trill asked quietly. "It seems a difficult endeavour, and perhaps one unlikely to bear long-term results." Which, of course, was why the gryvern weren't attempting to do so.

He chuckled at the suspicious musician who seemed to disbelieve everything that he said on principle alone... Oh well... It was understandable since Assassins were not known for their honesty or such, atleast he was told that in most cultures it was like that. He never really noticed it back home but, his kind were much different than the things he had seen so far.
"No, and pretty much for the reason you had stated... At the moment a lot of gryvern are simply choosing to find homes in other realities." he answered somewhat cheerfully.. And by somewhat it was actually just in his normal tone. "We have a lot of explorers looking for an alternate reality, but I'm not really a part of them. Several others have been here already." He explained casually, because well... He had no reason not to.

"There have been rumours," Trill answered quietly. "Of a new species roaming the woods. But we've heard rumours only." She tilted her head at Griksei as though only now placing his appearance in connection with wot she'd heard before. "Have you chosen your new residence, Griksei?"
Katya glanced up at the gryvern with some curiousity. She'd gotten a few rumours of the gryvern's move as well, but no one had been able to confirm it among her father's people. All of the messengers ended up dead at the paws of the Portal Guardians, and, oh, how she heard about that! Katya shuddered again, pushing the thought away with an effort. That was all in the past now. It had to be. She hid her face in Griksei's leg.

Griksei grinned and then nodded "I'm with something named Thalron. He has a very strange reality... It doesn't seem to follow the normal laws of physics." He said then looked down at Katya, wondering about the sudden face/leg burial. But he was still planning on being discrete about all that until she wanted to talk about it.... But in the mean time he just gave her another reassuring nudge with his free fore leg.
"I heard this place is where displaced, adopted, or uh... Bonded I think it was... Creatures went, Do you fit into any of those catagories?" he asked with some amount of refrain, he didn't want to offend them but really was unsure of what the term was called... It seemed everyone who mentioned it used some other word.

Trill gave an amused laugh at that, obviously not in the least bit offended. "Yes, displaced, adopted, bonded, we have followed that path as well. We live at Timekeeper with Sera." Whom, of course, Griksei would recognize as he passed through Hawkings Crest on his way out. Katya, however, didn't recognize the name as her way of leaving the Home Reality was a bit more circumspect.
She was touched by Griksei's reassurances, though she didn't take her pale muzzle from his darker leg. Trill noticed the sudden attachment of the small mix to Griksei's leg and it seemed the discussion of the gryvern world wasn't a pleasant one for the small thing.

"Sera? huh I came through Hawkings crest in order to get to my new reality." he said with a small amount of surprise in his voice, what was the chance of meeting something from there on his first real day out after getting (somewhat) settled. That was really strange... Oh well, life was strange most of the time.
He was pretty sure that Katya had not found a place to stay yet, atleast from her current state of mind... Or she had found one and had escaped it, he felt pretty sad about how insecure she was and was glad that he gave her some sort of security.
