"Youch!" Katasha kicked the beast right in the cheek with her foot. It lets go and turned its attention to Falaroy. With strength draining from the beast's limbs, it made one last attempt to fight. Katasha reached for her sword, which was embedded in the beast's neck. Yanking it lose with her one good arm, she viciously charged back to battle, trying to attempt the gut-wrenching pain in her right arm.
An arrow whizzed past Katasha's ear and zinged right into the side of the Nyrie's head. It let out a shriek, overcome by the wounds and creatures attacking it. It shook itself and tossed the cat and fairy away before quickly turning and weakly running away. Katasha pondered rather to let it be and let the wounds take care of the Nyrie, or to chase it and finish it off. It will fall from its wounds soon... She thought, her sword slipping out of her hand and hitting the ground. She leaned on the nearest tree and glanced at her arm. She winced. The wound was worse then she thought it was... Suddenly a thought popped into her head. And arrow had appeared out of no where and had whacked the Nyrie... Arrows can't shoot themselves... She painfully turned her head and spotted a tall figure in the trees. She swore that she saw a face before it turned and swiftly moved away. "Falaroy?" She murmured, peering at her friends.

Tapio, dispite being violantly thrown off had laned on ground with little hurt other then his feline pride. Falaroy with his swift reflexes managed to take flight in mid-air and avoid a nasty fall and saving himself from serious injury and/or death.
"Rotten swine!" Shouted the fairy waving a fist in the air. "You took my sword!" And he stuck out his tounge and did a raspberry.
Flying over to the elf and looked down to her arm. "My lady! You're wounded!" He placed a hand on her shoulder. "Hang on I have some healing spells that will take care of that!"
He rushed over to the cat and dug through the saddle bags until he pulled out a small glass bottle. "Hopefully this will work." Said Falaroy flying back to her. "Fairyspells seemed to have an odd effect on non-fairies. Well least on humans." He pulled off the cap. "Hold out your arm so I can pour this on."

Katasha nodded, pulled back the rather torn-up sleeve of her shirt, and stuck her arm out. She felt a bit queasy when she looked at it. She turned her head and tried to ignore it. "Did you see anything odd in the forest after that Nyrie left?" She asked, staring off into the woods where she saw the figure. She blinked, staring into the woods.

"You mean that guy?" Answered Tapio. "The chap who shot first and ran before he could ask any questions later?"
"Whoever he is we do owe him our thanks." Added the fairy pouring out the greenish liquid on the wound. As soon as it made contact with the blood and skin the elf felt a sudden warm and tingling sensation as it began to heal her. Along with small whiffs of smoke before the wound closed itself leaving no scar or mark of any kind.
Falaroy grinned triumphantly. "Well it worked after all! Must be because you are apart of the family tree."
"Yeah." Pipped in the ginger cat. "Last time we healed somebody her eyes turned yellow, her hair turned blue, and her skin turned all purplish. Not to mention she got a tail to tell."

Katasha slightly chuckled. "Well, I'm glad I didn't turn purple!" She gazed at her arm, now fully healed. "Thanks. Yeah, Tapio, that person who helped us. Do you know who the person is?" She glanced into the trees.

"Nither do I." The fairy put the cap back on the bottle. "Other then he's an good acher. Now if you don't mind I say we follow that beastie. I want my sword back. The King would be very upset if I lost it."

Katasha followed the trail of the Nyrie for a while until they finally came upon a nice-sized cave. "Eh, looks like we found it's den." She peered inside, noticing a large lump of something black near the entrance to the cave. It was the body of the Nyrie.

Falaroy dashed right in front of the elf. "Hold!" He cried.
"Never approach a fell beast thinking it's dead...cause it may not be dead. Sometimes they take their last bit of life out on the one who killed them. Better stand back!"
He aimed and fired his arrow at the beast's head, which burst out into flames. He fired two more shots and then putting the bow aside he raised his arms. Flame erupted from his hands and grew and grew until it seemed like the fairy was incased in a ball of fire. With a cry he trust the fire forward and it struck and burned half the nyrie's body.
With a weary sigh the fairy knight dropped his hands and fluttered down to the nyire's head, to were his sword stood still embedded in it's skull. With out burning himself he grabbed the hilt and with one swift yank pulled the sword and placed it back into it's sheath.
"Well that was fun." He said feeling very tired. He used to much of his powers and being rather a young fairy such a powerful spell wore him out easily. "A tale worth a balled don't you say..."
He grinned up at Katasha, grinned and then quite suddenly fainted.
"I knew that was going to happened." Said Tapio coming from behind the elf. He looked at his fallen master for a second and then turned to the elf. "Uh...Would you mind putting him on my back...unless you want to carry him."

Katasha shrugged and picked up the fairy before gently setting him on Tapio's back. Suddenly she felt the hairs on the back of her neck prickle. She turned her head to look over her shoulder and spotted the same person she had seen earlier, standing a little ways off, peering in they;re direction. Katasha ever-so- slightly opened her mouth as if she where going to say something, but glanced at the cat instead. "Theres that mysterious person-thing again." She murmured.

The fairy muttered a few words in his sleep as he was placed on Tapio's saddle. He flopped down with his head cradle against the ginger cat's neck and sighed deeply.
"Well say hi to him." Answered the ginger cat eyeing the stranger. "Doubtful he can." He flicked his head and the sleeping figure of Falaroy. Which despite wearing armor and having a furry bed that moved, slept quite soundly.

Katasha looked a bit unsure, pondering rather to approach the figure or just let it be.
(Well, I may not be available for a bit. I'm on vacation. ^_^ I'll be back the day after tomorrow, or maybe tomorrow night!)

"Shy are we." Grumbled the cat seeing that the elf wasn't doing anything but stare. "Alright, I'll do it but I tell you one thing I don't look all glamerous with a half dead fairy on my back."
With a sigh Tapio stepped forward and gazed up at the stanger. "So you are our mysterous archer...So tell me archy...why did you run off like that? Eemm?"
((OCC: Have fun!))

Katasha watched the cat walk away, an uneasy feeling in her stomach.
The figure peered out form beneath it's black hood, revealing icy blueish-grey eyes. "There were two of the Nyryins in the area. The other one needed to be taken care of before it came and gave you a peice of it's mind." Katasha gaped. Only her own people called the beats Nyryins! Well, some of them, at least. The word Nyries had come from the humans, who had a hard time pronouncing Nyryin. Most elves had come to also call them that, not wanting to overly confuse the already rather confused mortals that had made their home in the land. Katasha gingerly took a step foreward. "Sorry for running off like that. But I'm not that interesting of a person. I figured I would probably just bore you." The figure slightly chuckled, gazing at the cat before glancing at the fairy. "What happened to you're little friend?"
