Mozer gave her a friendly grin, unaware of her home life, which likely was just as well as he could be easily riled when it came to injustice. Or, injustice in his own mind. "That's alright," he answered reassuringly. "We're muddling through and your speech is excellent. Maybe we can bump up your vocabulary!" Okay, calm down, Mozer, one thing at a time, he wryly reminded himself. "Right. Well, let's keep heading in this direction," he gestures with a slight tilt of his head. "Maybe we'll meet or see someone important."
With that he took a step in the direction she had been previously heading, hesitating slightly to be sure she would come along. "Who taught you English?" he asked curiously.

She reached out and let the end of one of her arm like tentacles rest on his shoulder, apparently meaning guide in a more direct manner, following close at his side when he began to move. Words, words and more words... 'That's alright' she knew, but the rest of it made pretty much no sense... She guessed that he was talking about going somewhere but didn't know where, or what he had said.
'who taught you english?' Atleast she knew what was question and what wasn't, it made it a bit easier... And while she didn't know what he really said she knew what english meant, and was able to decipher the meaning out of the tone... Unfortunately she didn't have much of an answer because she had picked it up from so many different people. "Alot of humans talking." she explains in what she assumes is the right response. It was always so hard to tell...
She looked back to where she had seen the... Things before and now saw that they were lying down? That was an odd place to do that, wouldn't they get dirty? and why was that bird attacking the half human thing... Mozer didn't seem to pay much attention to them though, and since he was closest she returned her gaze to the gryvern.

Pallo quietly obayed though his face grimaced slightly as the owl gave him one final batting on the scull.
Still perched on the faun's head Druffle Quill turned his attention once again to the "lingworm." Thankfully the foul creature and it's oddball companion, didn't seem to taken notice of him or of Pallo.
"Uhh..Druffle..." Pallo said softly lifting his head slowly out of the dirt. "Who's that other creature? And why is the lingworm wearing flowers?"

Mozer tilted his head in interest at the flowering creature. "You have many humans at your home?" This was just getting more and more interesting as they went along. There were only two humans regularly in attendance at Hawkings Crest, Sera and her lifemate. They were often visited, however. He wondered if that's wot Ci Hua meant.
The gryvern wasn't exactly oblivious to the strange acting pair, however, he still didn't see any reason to approach them; he had his claws full with the Dionaea.

She watched him as he spouted out more questions... It was fun to talk, even if so much was indecipherable it was making her understand the language better! She so rarely got moments like this especially with someone who wasn't human... "My home is... Humans only." she then paused. looking at him as if trying to figure out a question he had not asked. She did know many more words for her home but didn't know which ones he would want to hear or... If he'd want to hear them, He did not seem interested in what she normally did there. What was the most common one then? "My home is... Gei-sha and entertainer house." She said sounding a bit uncertain, there were alot of words for it but many were not said with pleasant tones.
She neglected to mention that she was one of the more popular people there, and the only Dionaea that was there... Although, from her implications earlier he could most likely figure out that she had worked there. She probably didn't even know why she was supposed to do the things there.

Gei-sha. . . that sounded familiar, but Mozer couldn't think of why just then. "Human only," he mused aloud. "So are you the only Dionaea there? Wot do you do there?" He was, however, pleased that she had volunteered the information to him. He continued to slowly move in the same direction they had been moving in before, eyes open and ears twitching in alertness.

He repeated her answer with as a statement... She wasn't sure why he did that but it was probably so that he could remember it better? It was still strange but it did not bother her. "I am the only Dionaea in my home." These simple questions really weren't as difficult as she had thought, Even if she didn't know half of what she was saying meant, "I... Work..." she obviously was unsure about something, what she did was called so many different things too, not to mention that she did many different things too. What did she do most often? she... Danced, and... Well, she knew too many words for those other things. "I know how to dance, And ent...er...tain humans." she said before tilting her head, was that the right word? Mozer would probably know.
She really wondered what those two were doing, she heard them say something about flowers but they still distanced themselves (or rather weren't closing the current distance) and didn't seem intent on coming closer, were they scared? she couldn't smell it from here if they were. but why would they be afraid of her? Well, the bird was about the size of something she might eat but she didn't need extra food or anything right now.

"You work by entertaining humans?" Mozer echoed in amused surprise, unaware of his habit of repeating things she had just said. Actually, he did it regularly, but just hadn't bothered thinking about it. "That's pretty interesting," he said with a smile. "Do you enjoy dancing for them? And. . . otherwise . . entertaining them?" He wasn't certain if she sang or did other tasks beside dance. It sounded as though she did. "Do you do more than dance?" Him and his questions. He took a moment to scan her expression, aware that he wasn't certain he could even read it correctly. Many grew swiftly annoyed with his wide range of questions and relative close-mouthedness of himself and kind. Not that Ci Hua seemed to notice. It was something of a relief, actually.

She nodded to his question, was he doing that for confirmation? She had probably said something wrong and not realized it, or maybe said something that sounded strange but was pretty close... Did she use the wrong words to refer to herself? No... He was just repeating things again. And more questions, Mozer was fun, so few people talked to her and he seemed so interested in a uh less physical manner than most. But his question 'do you enjoy dancing for them' She understood it kind of... But she wasn't sure what part of her thoughts would be considered enjoyment, she knew when other people were enjoying things but didn't know how she would draw the conclusion from herself. "I do not know." she said with a small bow, she had been glad that she didn't need to use that word for awhile now.
'do you do more than dance' yes, she did alot more than that... But she was still very uncertain about the words for what she did, there were simply too many for her to choose and even the same person might not use the same one twice in a row. "I..." she paused, she was much better with emotions... She could just try and get her thoughts across that way, and not try and find the words.
She reached out and touched his shoulder gently with one of her 'arms' and slowly drew it across his back, bringing her head close down to his and exhaling a very sweet smelling puff of air across his face, her expression was rather easy to read... And it was much like the tone she had in her voice not too long ago when she asked him what he wanted her to do.

Mozer blinked, unaccustomed to her actions, not fully realizing wot they were. Of course, it wasn't often he was ever flirted with and even less so that he actually realized wot was occuring. The scent was sweet, but he had to struggle not to sneeze at it. So much for having a sensitive nose. He did manage to not sneeze and thus perhaps insult the other creature.
"Well, no matter," he responded instead, tilting his head in a brief smile again. His hide twitched uneasily with her touch, though he still seemed completely at ease. "Do you need to get back to. . the geisha house?" He wasn't entirely certain of how they referred to it.

...Apparently Mozer was not so good at reading emotions, or she was not being clear enough... Normally things were already in that sort of mind when she met them and thus didn't need such suggestions, but he was different... She liked that, but she did want him to understand... How could she be clearer? Words would help if she knew the ones that were right but she didn't, or rather probably did but did not know what they meant.
So she just had to be more obvious, that was easy and it always took more concentration to be subtle anyways... The change from gentle stroke to suddenly covered in her vine like arms was rather, well... Quick, it was more like a rather strange hug rather than a crushing embrace, and she brought her face down to beside his... At first it seemed like she was going to bit him, but instead tucked her teeth in underneath her lips as she pressed her face against his giving him a kiss... This was clear enough right? His question sunk in through her thoughts a moment later and so she answered it softly... "I do not know." Maybe that was a bit over the edge given the current situation but she really didn't know too much about how things were supposed to act other than what she had been taught, and that was well... Pretty much what she was doing, Completely unaware of any awkward social matters these things could cause.

"How am I spose to know why the fiend wearing flowers! And that other creature is a harpy or I've never seen one!" The plump owl made a 'tisk' becoming more annoyed with the faun.
Confused Pallo shook his head. The one creature didn't look anything like a harpy and now the more he looked looked at the "lingworm" it didn't seem to act in any threatening manner. Why it looked more or less like the creatures were two friends traveling together. Just like him and Druffle Quill.
"You know..."Pallo said slowly resting his chin in his hands."I don't think they're dangerous..."
The owl responded with a chuckle. "Hohoohoo! Oh really! The why don't you go up and play them a song! Hohohoho! But music soothes the savage beast! If they like your nilly witted songs but go ahead pluck away on that little tinker toy of yours! Hoohooho-ahhh!"
The owl's laugher was cut short as Pallo suddenly jerked upwards and angrily flung Druffle Quill off him. Pallo just had enough of the owl! Oh sure he tolerated the fat bird's name callings and abuses but to insult his singing and not to mention his beloved lute Helena! "Tinker Toy! Helena is not a "tinker toy!" He cried grabbing and cradling his treasured instrument.
Druffle Quill was outraged!"Stupid goatboy! You could of killed me!"
Pallo instantly regretted throwing off the fussy bird for Druffle suddenly began to dive him in an ariel attack.
Pallo ran for his life covering his head with his arms trying to ward off Druffle Quill. "Aiiieee! No, no wait! I take it back! I'm sorry!"

Hey now. Mozer's blue eyes were wide with surprise at the sudden 'attack'. There was a moment of hesitation as he racked his brain, trying to decide wot exactly this all meant. He was decidedly uncomfortable, though he would try to mask it, and he was ready for a little physical distance between the two of them. However, she had him still in that tight embrace, and the gryvern wasn't certain if he could get away. At least, not without potentially hurting one or both of them.
A short cry caused an ear to flick, but it didn't free him from the Dionaea's hold. "Well," he said quietly, striving hard to keep the unease from his voice. There was a tension in his frame now, however, one he couldn't quite release. At least his voice sounded nearly normal, with only a hint of the surprise in it. "Well," he repeated again, trying to figure out exactly wot to say or do. Retreating wouldn't work when she had him so tightly wrapped, and he was too collected to just run away.
"Uhh, why did you do that?" finally came out.

She didn't appear to notice the unease that mozer was trying to hide desperately, she did notice a small amount of tension but most creatures got like that when she touched them... Her skin and feeling was much different than them after all. when he first spoke the 'well' she lost alot of the flirtatious feeling and went back to the keenly interested, waiting for the rest of the question... Then he repeated the 'well' once again... Things stuttered when she was being too close or something, that was one thing she had learned but... the pause between them made her slightly unsure of that.
When he finally asked the question she was rather sure that he was uncomfortable and loosened her grip before pulling back, arms unwrapping with slow and deliberate strokes across his fur, it was very soft... And actually the only creature she had met with fur before. "I do not know words for... Other works... Do you und...er...stand?" she finally asked a question of her own, although it was a yes or no answer one.
She heard the cry but was uncertain what it meant, it knew sorry and heard something running... what were those two things doing now? she glanced over and saw the bird thing getting ready to attack the half human thing... But she had no idea what to do about it, or if she was supposed to do anything.

By now Pallo's poor scalp was starting to hurt from the numerous scratches and beak pecking. He was even bleeding just a little.
"Enough! Ow! I'm sor..oww! Sorry...ouch!" He pleaded gently with one hand rubbing his sore head and holding the lute protectively with the other.
"Fur for brains! Nincompoopy! Blithering blockhead!"
Pallo ducked as Druffle made another dive at him. His amber eyes searched wildly for a place for cover.....and came across the "lingworm and the "harpy."
An idea sprang into the faun's racing mind. Run towards them in that way he'll frighten off Druffle Quill. Of course the faun concluded there was the chance that the "lingworm" may take a bite out of him....okay then perhaps that wasn't....
A high pitched screech followed by a sharp pain from the back of his head made Pallo make up his mind.
Pounding his goat hooves into the ground the faun ran straight for the newcomers. "Hey! Hey you!" He shouted at them waving with his one free hand.
"Pallo what are you doing!" The owl suddenly stopped his attack. He could believe his eyes! The faun was purposely running right for the lingworm! Didn't Pallo realize that with one blast of the beast's foul poisonous breath could kill him?
"Pallo come back!" He gasp. Forgetting everything about a being angry at the faun Druffle Quill chase after him. Though after all the exertions his wings were tiring fast and he was flying lower to the ground.
