My left click code doesn't work on Firefox...the one I've been using has been around for a while now, since before Firefox was popular. Could you show me what code does work?
And I agree, there's always ways around it, but it will block the stupid (which most image stealers are) and will deter those that didn't actually mean to do harm. For example my pop up message says to follow the link to adopt their own and not to take the images without permission. If someone didn't know before, they would then.
I've found a few ways even around the left-clicker, like put the image in a table, make it the background of a cell, and place an invisible image on top of it. Unless you're paying attention, when you save an image, you'll get the invisible one. Also, to get around the view source, with the left-clicker enabled you can have a pop-up window without menus...but that's not reasonable for normal page viewing. Course frames help confuse which source to read.
Anyway, I must admit I feel a little embarassed to be the source of the theft *g*

I got this email: Hello, I really like your site!! You can check mine out if you want. It's www.geocities.com/mysticaleggs/. Sorry, but I used a lot of your pictures. I hope that's okay. Sorry if I wasted your time!!! sincerely, AnnieI wrote to her, but perhaps you want to confront her yourselves too? I don't think she was being malicious about it, she just didn't know. Probably she wasn't using IE, which is why my left-click blocker didn't stop her....anyone know of any good anti-theft tricks for Firefox?

Teehee. Yeah, the angel does have a pointy butt, but I think that's an artifact of how the feathers of the wing cover him. The proportions are kind of wrong, he's got massive thighs...and only one leg, heh *g* And only one arm for that matter. Even though the picture is from the side, you should at least be able to see the other foot, I didn't notice the other arm can't be seen till I started writing about the foot. And though the wings are not realistic, they are gorgeous and unique. Though I've been drawing birds for a while now, I haven't mastered real feathers either.
Tobias seems to still be a sketch, not quite complete...I guess just missing detail.
Dragon man is cool, love the way you coloured him. As someone else put in the comments, if your dreams are as funky as the creatures you draw, they must be pretty wild ^_^
You could always try to find a human anatomy book. You can probably even find some on the web where they describe proportions...although its not generally your proportions that are off but rather the thickness of the limbs, not the lengths.

Thanks!
I don't intend on using it to receive money, only to spend, though its a good thing to know in case I do find some reason in which to get people to send me money ^.^
I noticed the currency conversion fee though, bleh. Good thing the Canadian dollar is getting stronger, but that 2.5% kind of knocks it back down again. Obviously most of the things to be bought out there are in the US. Ah well.

I'm comptemplating opening a Paypal account, but the last time I looked into it (a couple years ago) I remember there being some tricks if you happen to be non-US based.
Any Canadian users of Paypal? Are the any hidden fees a US user wouldn't have? Any other warnings or things I should be careful of?
Thanks! ^_^

My website host is moving my site to new servers, so this is just a warning that if any of my critter links are broken it may be because of this. I'm not expecting any problems, Powweb has been a good host, but just in case I'm letting you guys know ^_^
You can still let me know of any broken links and I'll make sure the problem gets resolved once their done.
Also, because they need to make a copy of my site, I may update something which may miss getting transfered over. So if I give you a link in the next few weeks that doesn't work, that may be the reason why, I'll be keeping track of what I update during that time and ensure that once the transfer is over, that I re-upload anything that didn't make it.

Hmm, are they saying that a horse _can't_ jump as high without a rider, or they just choose not too? After all, who would put more effort into what they are doing than they have to Given a choice, a horse probably wouldn't jump on its own if it didn't have good reason to. It is also true that the horse cannot actually see the jump when it is jumping it, perhaps with the rider guiding it, it has more confidence. I know in racing, a horse can do better when it has the bit to lean into, so that can help them run faster. Maybe the same can apply to jumping? And having ridden some myself, it is most definitely a sport. Even if you don't know what you're doing and you're just there for the ride, you use your legs to stay put. You may not notice you're doing it at first, but the moment you get off, or the next day, ouch. I think its a fascinating sport, the only one that really comes to mind where men and women (or mare and stallion) compete equally. A woman on a mare has as good a chance of winning as a man on a stallion. ^_^

I've had several people send emails to my site asking about the title of this movie. I have no idea what movie it is, I've never seen it, but a lot of people have been looking for it. Hopefully there are some of you 80's people out there (I'm one of them but apparently I missed this)
-----------------
"I'm trying to find a movie made in the 80s about a baby unicorn that is trying to get away from this evil man that has flat fingers and freezes people. Please help! "
"I am in search of a movie about a little unicorn who was taken from her mother and abandoned on an island with a little devil. I remember the unicorn turned into a girl or cat at some point during this movie. Alot of resemblences to the last unicorn. "
"--I'm probably looking for the same movie. I'm looking for a movie with a little blue (?) devil whose father is a big stone statue. Anyway, the devil does meet up with a unicorn. Does anyone know this? "
--------------------
Note: The first quote may not be the same movie, I'm not sure.
Thanks!

Money grabbing buggers. The internet works the way it does *because* its mostly free and unregulated. Yes, that means porn sites abound, but there are prices to pay for freedom and some people will abuse it with illegal stuff. But a lot of people don't and great sites like this one here will suffer. I mean all those of us who have our own personal sites, we're not going to pay ISP's so people can view them, that's ridiculous. There are gobs of ISP's out there, it will be incredibly expensive for anyone other than a major corporate site. Even my little host couldn't pay for it all. Ironically, the ones most able to pay for such things will be the sites people pay to visit, i.e. the porn sites Hopefully Canada won't go along with it, but we have this nasty tendency to be swayed by the events south of the border. We're standing up a bit more for oursevles, but when push really comes to shove I fear we'll give in.
